Situated in a sought-after wine production area outside Paarl, on the Paarl Wine Route. There is no building infrastructure, except for 3 damaged labourers’ units (electrically fenced off) The farm provides an opportunity to build yourself a dream house where the fantastic views stretch from different mountain ranges to Paarl Rock and the Huguenot tunnel. The 2018 olive harvest was conservatively lower than previous harvests, due to the recent drought. The previous owner has now confirmed the amount of olive trees to be approximately 687. (Mission (677) and Manzanilla (10)

The ex-owner, who is still attending to the management of the farm (by agreement), confirmed the 2018 wine grape harvest as follows:

3.89 ha Cabernet Sauvignon - 35.94 tons. 92 ha Chenin Blanc - 4.81 tons (will qualify in 2019 - 35 years - to certify wine as “old vine vineyard”)

2 ha Chardonnay - 3.84 tons. Three phase electric current is available at the transformer.

The ex – owner has re-affirmed that the current borehole is dynamic and stable over many years. If no buy-out , I would like to maintain some shareholding in the farm as I envisage that one could erect new facilities and upgrade the quality of the vines and produce wine (and olives) under one’s own label(s)
